the visual mercenary group was started in new york city in january of 2002. that was a pretty tough time in nyc - and pretty much the US as a whole - being right after the WTC collapse. it was also a still pretty early in the whole new media/multimedia time line.

since then the web has grown by leaps and bounds (thanks to moore’s law) and multimedia is prevalent and accessible everywhere. so here we are, 9 years later in the middle of another  - this time global - recession and we’re still cranking it out.

we’ll get our act together and actually write something important soon.
